GCMN staff members from Ibadan were invited to a church to conduct a Family Life Marriage Conference in
June. At the church, the first person to arrive was an old man, whom they later found out was 92 years of age. “What did he come to do? Will he benefit from the programme? How will he make use of the teaching?” These were some of the questions going through the mind of our staff member. During the teaching the elderly man was busy writing points down, and sometimes making some side talk with the man by his side. What would he do with what he was learning?
At the end of the day he told us. He said, “I thank God that I came for this programme. I could not apply these to my children but my grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be blessed by this. I will take these points seriously and apply them to my grand and great-grandchildren. You should not under rate what God can use others to do in your life. When you stop learning you are dead.” (more…)
