The Word of God is extremely powerful in combating disease.

In Exodus 15:26, the Lord promises “none of these diseases” to the Israelites if they will obey His commandments. Consider Proverbs 4:20-22: “My son, give attention to my words … for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their whole body.”

No doubt medical science will continue to find physical explanations for what techniques God uses to give us health as we follow His Word. In the meantime, though, I recommend you obey what the Bible prescribes for us.
